About Robin

I am a Christian homeschooling mom.  I have two beautiful children, and a wonderful husband.  My son, Rory, is in fifth grade, and my daughter, Lily, is in kindergarten.  We keep ourselves busy with two chickens, one cat, and a dog.  I also play piano at our church, and teach Sunday School.  We are probably considered "eclectic" homeschoolers, but we try to follow God's plan.  I am constantly studying, praying, and searching to determine just what that is!  I recently finished writing a literature-based curriculum for the history and geography of New York State, which is available at Currclick.  It is expanded from a book and activity list I compiled for Rory to use for first grade.  A couple of friends also used it, and encouraged me to make it into a curriculum for publication.  I hope you will check it out!  I have a degree in music education and music therapy, and am a former music teacher and current part-time substitute teacher at the local public school.  As a homeschooling mom, I am continually in school, myself, learning more so that I can pass information on to my children, and I wouldn't have it any other way!
